Good access point for either the North or South shore of lake Georgetown. The north shore from here to Russell Park is the easiest section of the Goodwater loop for biking, but a bit boring (and not much shade) for hiking. The South shore has more shade but runs into some pretty steep/precarious sections after about 2.5 miles
Its a good place to camp but the only water is at bathroom and you can take a show.
