The price was good and we set up a day to do the work. The evening before, Laura called and asked if Chris could reschedule by a couple of hours. No problem.
I was pleasantly surprised. Our home warranty company assigned these guys to us when our water heater went out. After bad a bad experience with the AC company they assigned us a month earlier I was prepared for the worst. They called to setup an appointment the day after I submitted the claim to my warranty company. They arrived on time and were very quick and professional. Within 3 hours of their arrival I had a new water heater in place and ready to go. I inspected all the work and it was done correctly. I'll give them a call next time I need something even if it isn't through my warranty.
One week later – looks good and doesn’t leak. Chris and Laura were pleasant to work with and the work is first rate quality. I highly recommend Ski’s Plumbing in Liberty Hill.
Measure, cut, glue – off to work he went and finished in about an hour. He knew what he was doing. He said to give it about 30 minutes while we cleaned up then he would slowly add water pressure and bleed air from the tub in the house.
I called Ski’s Plumbing to get an estimate to replace valves and add a whole house filter in my well house. Laura, his wife, called when he was on his way.
not professional - sent by a major Homewarranty company. changed wax ring & float assembly. He drained my toilet in my bath tub. When he wipe up some, he rinsed the rag in my sink. He left a mess on my floor - droppings by the toilet & in the middle of the bathroom. When I asked him if he was going to leave it there he said "what mess". I told him on the floor. He took some toilet tissue &wipe up a little around the toilet &floor, then dropped the tissue in the toilet, (no flush) dropped some of the tissue's contents on the toilet seat. I had to bleach my floor, tub and sink. He did not replace the caps on the base of the toilet. I called the Homeowner's Warranty company who contacted him. He told them there were no caps to begin with. 2nd visit: turns out Screws he used were too long. He had to shave them down to put caps on...evidently the reason he failed to use the originals and lied to the warranty co. about it. shavings left on the floor, no attempt to clean up. Caps don't fit.
When Chris arrived, we discussed the valve placements and how he would route the pipes for the filter. I have to change the filter and service the water softener, so in my mind it looked workable.
Chris was just awesome. We needed a plumber and I called at 8am and he came the same day with a window time. He was running late and phoned us which NEVER happens, he was there when he said he would be. Resolved our problem in no time and didn't cost and arm and a leg. Thank you Chris. Just had Chris finish up with a service call to my house and super nice guy. Extremely honest and straightforward. First came in and took a look at the situation, let me know what work he was going to do, and was open and honest about all of it. Will definitely be a returning customer when the need arises again.
